I have been misdiagnosed and taken wrong medicine for 4 years for a problem by a top specialist, the doctor kept making up reasons on why I'm not getting better.

By luck I consulted with another specialist due the former doctor not being available at and odd time, and some re-tests help determine that I need a different class of medicines. I was better within months.

4 years of wrong medicines and over confidence from a leading doctor. Now I have a tool to double check what doctor has recommended.

This is just bad PR from Indian government. Communication minister clarifies the app is optional https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/technology/tech-news/tel...

Reuters/BBC have been famous to pounce and sensationalizing.

Sounds like both articles are right: There was a private government order to preload that app to smartphone makers. And it is not mandatory for citizens to use the app.

No sensationalizing apart from you it seems

not really. you may read the official notification here https://www.pib.gov.in/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2197140&re...

"Manufacturers must ensure the App is easily accessible during device setup, with no disabling or restriction of its features"

Somehow reminded me of how Michael Scott remembers things: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSi41cNvmXQ

This is stuff for spy movies.

Learnt this from a cxo few years ago and this has certainly helped - to be able to make time for yourself, every workspace task should be a calendar entry.

Not surprised that Nestle behaves unethically.

We don't need to find out, wikipedia itself documents it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_with_the_mo...

The distance was also known in 16th century as per Hindu hymn of hanuman chalisa - https://hinduism.stackexchange.com/questions/10370/did-our-a...

Not sure that's convincing: Why would I multiply a unit of time (Yug) with unit of distance (Yojan) to arrive at the distance to the sun? Also note that per Wikipedia, the historical value of the Yogan can range from 3.5km (~2.2 miles) to 15km (~9.3 miles). How was the value of 8 miles chosen?

I'm sure your goal is to boost the intellectual reputation of ancient hindu philosophy, but you're mostly scuffing the intellectual reputation of hinduism.stackexchange.com

Strongly doubt this

I've become lazy after google translate app started translating from camera directly without even taking pictures. I've purchased online some Chinese products in past with not a letter of English on them but was able to read in seconds with Translate and camera.

And where is this?

I live in Israel. Most of the ultra religious do not own a smartphone.
