I would agree that for all intents and purposes, X abandoned Twitter…but it looks like the 3 year time frame has not yet occurred. If they could’ve stayed quite a bit longer, they may have been successful.

Indeed, July 2026 would've been a better time to attempt to acquire the abandoned trademark based on their rebranding timeline.
