A year or two ago there was a way to get free SOL from Coinbase by reading some literature and taking quizzes. I barely remember it, but recall it was trying to position itself as a safer alternative to BitCoin, not controlled by situations like FTX.
These free offerings were always a scam by Coinbase where they'd put you in an indefinite waitlist. Heck, I was supposed to get staking rewards by Coinbase for Algorand that never happened. I contacted support a couple times and like 3 months later they finally said they'll look into it and I never heard back. Their support is literally non-existent. If you have issues on Coinbase don't ever expect to reach anyone. It's a shame they keep getting promoted here as they are not much better than FTX
