My prediction is that this will turn out like the Area 51 raid. No one's really gonna do anything, but it's a scary thought.

pretty much. the school district I work for called school off today because in addition to the TikTok video in question, somebody from another state apparently specifically threatened one of our middle schools with a threat. the whole thing is very odd, and it'll be interesting to see how policy shapes going forward—we can't close every school every time a random ultra-broad threat like this happens.
