Underwhelming, this just proxies the request through an external web server that handles it. It would be interesting to see something using WASM to run a web server in the browser. And some kind of decentralized replacement of DNS gateways for host resolution.

Pretty sure you're describing DAT/Beaker browser. I'm not super familiar with it though so could be wrong.
