That GNU hates man pages and instead provides documentation in an obscure and long-winded format is part of the problem, not an excuse.


Worse, it fails the "requires an internet connection" test.

The Info documentation is installable locally, and is perfectly readable without an Internet connection with a suitable tool, like Emacs.
