Echoing others that have mentioned Adafruit - you can’t neglect the practical side of electronics and Adafruit has some of the best, most practical tutorials, walkthroughs, and resources for much of the digital electronics space. Learn by doing with an Arduino, some lights, and maybe an Ethernet add-on or a sensor add-on.

Pick up the theory and math of EE along the way, and you should be good to go. There’s all sorts of neat things to learn in the analog space or in the op-amp space for those that come from a CS background.
