MiddleClick was a program enabling middle clicks for touchpads on OS X. The program seems to have been abandoned and no FOSS alternative has taken its place.

Currently the program has, what I consider, a serious unresolved bug that nobody has even commented on:

Why is this? Is nobody in need for this feature? Why hasn't anybody at all tried to at least fork the project or in any way contribute to it?
