Try putting some iogurt after soap for 2 minutes just before the final cleansing in the shower. You might, like me, start thinking beyond the second brain idea. It is all connected.
Definitely every profession. Exposing a problem either makes someone more powerful than you look bad, or makes you look bad for throwing someone else under the bus. Either way you're at risk of either retaliation or bad working relationships. The only relatively safe way to report problems is to do it anonymously and pray it doesn't come back on you.

2. the current banking system is already effectively broken. Baddies can forge banknotes and can social engineer financial institutions to perform fraudulent transactions. Despite that we have measures to keep such activities under control. I don't see why this can't be extended to CBDCs.
Innovations (overall) are created and (very intensely) diffused from cities. I also love in a rural area, but my lifestyle is not different of what I did earlier in a city. Really honest question: how can you keep a rural lifestyle with a nowadays job?
Technology-wise this is impressive, and surely a milestone for humanity, but the break-even point for this idea seems to me 2-3 decades ahead, even though I agree the higher prices will be there.
I was having similar thoughts last week: academia makes no sense for any well grounded intellectual, and I will start a research foundation. But how to make it economically sustainable?
